NMC Biology instructor Dr. Nick Roster will discuss his biology students' year of surveying the environment in Grand Traverse County and beyond, in search of how microplastics have invaded our environment. The research has a two-fold purpose. One is to assess the level of microplastics in our environment, the other is to expose students to authentic scientific research.
